Day-to-day- breakdown of this trip

Day 1

Arrival

Arrive in Uganda the pearl of Africa, a TugendeAfrik guide will pick you from the airport and check you  into the hotel to rest or do site seeing this will depend on the arrive time.

Day 2

After breakfast, we travel to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park found in the Bwindi Mgahinga conservation area at your preferred accommodation. Bwindi Mgahinga conservation area has five tracking areas namely Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga, Nkulingo and Nyakagyezi you are advised to refer to your Gorilla tracking permit to enable you select a suitable and closer accommodation.

Day 3

After morning breakfast, clients will go for gorilla trekking which is a full day life changing experience with the genital giants. You are advised to be at the briefing center at 7:30am to verify your permit and receive enough briefing about the activity by Uganda Wildlife Authority guide rangers. At any of the sites selected there are always porters who can carry your bags during tracking experience at a fee. You will be close to the Mountain Gorillas one of our closest cousins; you will be advised to the guidelines offered at the site because they are endangered. Later come back to the lodge for a rest or spa treatment

Day 4

The following morning at leaser, clients will go for a community tour around Bwindi and later go to lake Bunyoyi for more sight-seeing  and a rest full evening. Lake Bunyonyi a one of the most beautiful places in Uganda and I looks like a painting from a distance and thus it’s a must visit for clients when in Uganda

Day 5

We travel to Kibale national park where we shall come in contact with the Chimpanzees whose DNA is 98% that of humans.  After the lodge drive, we shall check into our lodge for a rest and dinner

 

Day 6

After breakfast, we set off for Chimp Tracking in the Kibale NP where one can track chimpanzees in their natural environment. We shall also get the opportunity to learn about the ecosystems of the park including vegetation types, bird identification and behavior and chimp and monkey ecology. Although chimp sightings are not guaranteed, visitors stand a pretty good chance of hearing and seeing them habituated. Tours last between one and three hours and start at 8am and 2pm daily. After lunch, we shall have a spa treatment and lazy afternoon enjoying the lodge amenities. 

 

Day 7

We travel back to Kampala/ Entebbe  and get a flight to Nairobi Kenya and arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport  and get checked into oue hotel, have a briefing and later rest and maybe have a night life experience.

 

Day 8

After morning breakfast, we shall do a Nairobi tour visiting the museum and cultural center around the city and later drive to masai Mara national Park where we shall check into our hotel and have dinner

 

Day 9

At 6am, the clients will have breakfast and packed lunch then head out for the safari in the Mara, its advised to get up early for this is the best time to see most of the animals We go to Masai Mara National park for the safari experience We shall later come back to the lodge for dinner and a bonfire.

 

Day 10

After breakfast, we shall set of for amboseli National park in the south of Kenya. In the dry season Lake Amboseli will be dry but clients with enjoy a blend of wild life from giraffes, zebras, antelopes to elephants and lions. Plus the amazing view of Mountain Kilimanjaro after lunch we shall go for another game drive. Later come to the lodge for dinner.

 

Day 11

After breakfast, we shall drive down to the boarder of Tanzania, cross over and check into our lodge in Arusha for lunch and have a city tour if clients are interested .

 

Day 12

After a safari briefing in the morning and an approximate 2 hour drive you will arrive at the Tarangire National Park. Giant baobab trees, bush savannah and the seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. The Tarangire National Park is considered as one of the best places to view elephants up close. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari vehicle you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. We shall spend the night in Karatu at the preferred lodge

 

Day 13

After breakfast, you will travel via the cooler highlands towards the southern Serengeti and at midday you will reach the plains of the Serengeti National Park. This park is the largest in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes – short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps and lakes. Bizarre rock formations called kopjes dot the grassy landscape where predators are often seen. The Serengeti is famous for the yearly migration when hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras trek to find fresh grass and water. You will spend the night at your preferred lodge

 

Day 14

Breakfast at around 08:00am. Proceed with morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge in the midafternoon. The term Serengeti means endless plains in Masai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like leopard, lion, hyena and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra that occurs between the Kenyan Mara and the Serengeti. Varied bird species can be seen here including eagles, ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, stork, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes and guinea fowl. The Serengeti National park is a arguably the best known wildlife sanctuary in the world with over 3 million large mammals. About 35 species of plains animals can be seen there including the “big 5” – Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard and Buffalo. Other common species found here includes hippo, giraffe, eland, impala and other antelope types, baboons, monkey and a profusion of over 500 species of birds. In their wake follow predators, lion, and cheetah and wild dogs with vultures circling overhead! Come back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 15

Early morning after breakfast, we continue with our en-route drive inside the Ndutu before we depart to Ngorongoro crater. When you first see Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a forgotten world. Concealed by the steep volcanic walls is a pristine wilderness including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland and glistening lakes and swamps. The Crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. It is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve which is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. The Crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.

After Lunch and an extensive game drive inside the crater, we head for our comfort partner lodges in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 16

Early morning after breakfast, we depart to Lake Manyara National Park which is an unspoilt paradise and is best known for its abundance of birds and tree-climbing lions. The dramatic western escarpment of the Rift Valley forms the Park’s western border.  To the east is the shallow, alkaline Lake Manyara. The lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of flamingos during the rains. The name Manyara comes from the Maasai word ‘Manyara’, a popular plant which is used to build the protective enclosure around a family homestead (boma). The Park’s vegetation is diverse, ranging from savannah to evergreen forest. On your exploration of the park you may see giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, and elephant and if you are lucky; lions lounging in the trees. After the game drive , we shall drive to Arusha where we shall spend the night.

After Lunch and an extensive game drive inside the crater, we head for our comfort partner lodges in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 17

After breakfast, we shall drive to the airport then fly to Zanzibar for the white sands experience

 

Day 18

TZ

After breakfast we shall get  a tour of  Stone town this is world heritage site by UNESCO, with our guide you will walk on the footsteps of Arab Sultans of Zanzibar and also visit of the historical sites, Zanzibar cultural shops, the fruits and vegetable market, Forodhani park, presentation of Zanzibar doors, their roles and significance. We offer this tour for half day and this can be combined with the spice tour, explore of spices, coconut tree climbing, fruits, and test some of the Zanzibar fruits.  We shall also see the different herb and spice gardens plus the products made from the spices and finally have a late local lunch in spice farm.

 

Day 19

Morning after breakfast at 7:00 am, will depart from your hotel for Dolphin tour, We take you to the fishing village of Kizimkazi. An amazing boat ride will take you to the home of the dolphins. Also swim next to them and enjoy once in a life time. 

 

Day 20

Then at 10:00am will take you to JOZANI Forest, join amazing tour to the hectare Jozani forest nature reserve, some 35km to the south of Zanzibar town. See the largest population of the Zanzibar Red Colobus monkey, one of the rarest species in the world. So make your cameras ready, watch endemic birds and butterflies, and plant your own mangrove tree.

And at 6:00pm back for relaxation in your hotel.

 

Day 21

This full-day excursion includes something for everyone. From relaxing on the white sands of the Sandbank to snorkelling for tropical fish and devouring a BBQ seafood buffet – guests are in for a treat!  In the morning, we board the dhow from UROA BAY HOTEL and set sail towards Sand bank. There, guests will enjoy and we will go to Michamvi village, we take Daladala for ten minutes to Michamvi beach then we board to the dhow for snorkelling at Mchamvi beach with full unlimited drinks and music to view the stunning array of coral and tropical fish that surround the island. 

 

 

Day 22

Travel to the airport and fly back home
